Trentino Tourist Portal

1-9-2009

The new Tourist Portal of Trentino Province, www.visittrentino.it, is on line. The portal has been developed by a pool of companies led by Informatica Trentina. ECTRL Solutions supported the integraton of the Liferay portal server and developed most of the front end services, including higly interactive web 2.0 search functionalities, the travel planner, and the map,  meteo, and search engine components.

Country Portal for Finnish Tourism

The new Country Portal for Finnish Tourism www.visitfinland.com is on line. The portal has been developed by a consortium of companies led by EC3 Networks (prime contractor) including Siemens PSE, ECTRL Solutions, Asio-Data, and Lixto. The new Finnish Tourism Portal is the  worldwide visiting card for Finland and make Finland even more attractive as tourism destination. ECTRL Solutions implemented the travel planning and recommendation services of the portal. The portal has been contracted to the consortium by the Finnish Tourism Board, which is the owner of the service. Contact point for the Finnish Tourism Board:

Enter 2010. Two accepted papers.

Even this year, ECTRL Solutions and Trip@dvice will be present at the Enter conference, the leading international conference on Technology and Tourism, which will be held in Zurich, 10-12 February 2010.
